Assesment of Pregnants' Consciousness, Behavior and Administration to Oral Health: Clinical Research

Objective: Oral health condition of a pregnant woman may also influence the unborn child. An association between gum disease and low weight births has been reported previously. Therefore, we aimed to survey pregnants awarness attitute about possible complications during pregnancy who referred for dental treatment by given questionnaire. Material Methods: This study was designed as clinical trial. The carried out at Gazi University Faculty Dentistry, Department Maxillofacial Surgery (Ankara, Türkiye), November 2020-February 2021. Total 193 were least 18 years old volunteer included in study. Participants various weeks their they questionnaire containing questions consciousnesss, administrations behaviors towards oral health. Results: It determined that work private sector brush teeth twice day visiting dentist regularly have significantly higher In addition, it found are self employed tooth changing frequency is being once month better attitutes term Conclusion: Establishing consensus among obstetricians dentists on subject informing women relevant institutions, creating prenatal guide will be very positive approach both mothers babies.
